Marshall Opel -- @marshallopel


Marshall grew up in Missoula, Montana with a love of camping, fishing, bike racing, and Nordic ski racing. He went on to ski race for a French team and Division 1 college, and then moved to Portland, Oregon to work for Rapha. Last year, he went to Europe to bike tour and recorded a podcast @bfastwboz at the Tour de France with his friend Ian Boswell – who raced with Team Katusha Alpecin. Marshall is currently coaching the Glacier Nordic Ski Team in Whitefish, Montana. He is excited to hit the road in a VanDOit this spring for the best gravel rides and races across the country! 

Jeremy Collins -- @jer.collins


Jeremy Collins is known for his cerebral nature-inspired drawings and maps featured in his award-winning books, films & commercial work, wall murals and over 200 magazines, including the cover of National Geographic. He is the founder of Meridian Line apparel and was awarded “Most Inspirational Individual” in 2015 by Outdoor Industry.

As an athlete, Collins explores the far reaches of the globe putting up adventurous first ascent climbs, and annually he competes in a world renowned 24 Hour climbing competition where he maintains numerous all-time records including over two miles of vertical climbing.

Collins is an activist and has donated his time, voice and work to causes he believes in for many years across the globe. His work supports numerous environmental programs throughout the US, and annually he produces a wall calendar of his art that provides activism initiatives.

With the success of Meridian Line, his vision is to develop grants for others who are storytellers, filmmakers, artists and musicians who want to make a difference in the world with their passions. This program is called MAPS (Mindful Action Projects). He is excited to travel in a VanDOit with his sketchbook and climbing gear in pursuit of story and ascent!

Richard Pool -- @alpha_lazer @bicyclecrumbs


Richard Pool is a professional illustrator and designer who started an Instagram account @bicyclecrumbs reviewing bike parts through illustration, with hopes of getting into the cycling industry. Bicycle Crumbs took off and he landed a job at The Vanilla Workshop, Speedvagen in Portland, Oregon doing design and marketing. As a father of two kids under 3 years-old, he and his wife Jessie love to explore all that Oregon has to offer, from racing gravel in the spring to cyclocross in the fall, and a ton of exploring in between. The Pool family is excited to show how a VanDOit is the perfect every-day vehicle for an active and busy family!

Kait VanHoff -- @kaitvanhoff & Chad Maurer -- @madchaurer


Kait VanHoff is the founder of @revitalize_retreat yoga & fitness retreats. Kait & Chad are based in Salt Lake City, Utah and enjoy traveling the outdoors and exploring new places. They’re always down for a good powder day, fun mountain bike ride, great hike, sunny surf day, and everything in between. They are excited to explore the Pacific Northwest in a VanDOit. Our application period for the free use of a VanDOit allowed us to hear from a lot of people with amazing stories! If you entered, we want to thank you for taking the time. We read through every story and were blown away by your life experiences, love for adventure and charisma for VanDOit.
